George Lucas has announced that all six Star Wars
films will come out on Blu-ray in 2011, with,
according to Blu-ray.com, "extensive special
features... including never-before-seen footage."
The Top 9 Changes to Star Wars on Blu-ray
9. Yoda loses that annoying speech impediment and Princess Leia
gets a much-needed hairdo update.
8. The speech we've all been waiting for: "C-3PO, I am your
father!"
7. I didn't realize Alderaan had a Starbucks...
6. If you didn't know Lucas's political slant before, Emperor
Palpatine's second-in-command is now a maverick Mama Wookiee.
5. Jar-Jar Binks digitally removed from all scenes and replaced
with marginally more popular Rod Blagojevich.
4. Fifteen extra minutes of Leia just hanging out in the golden
bikini.
3. Gredo still shoots first, but now you can count the hairs on
his knobby fingers.
2. Obi-Wan now ten feet tall with blue skin.
and the Number 1 Change to Star Wars on Blu-ray...
1. Platinum version shows Jabba and Leia doing it; Ultra-Platinum
takes that scene out again.
